Your demise is still like a dream to me and it calls to my mind some Bible passages especially the one that talks about keeping watch because we do not know the hour or time the master will return, He will come like a thief in the night. Little did I know that my visit to you and my big sister in April 2021 would be my last time of meeting you physically. O death! where is your victory? O death, where is your sting? Thanks be to Jesus, our Resurrection, our Hope and our Life.
Daddy, you were a loving, humble and simple person; warm, hospitable and accommodating. I remembered vividly your warm welcome and excitement the day I arrived your house in Glen Burnie (April 2021), seeing you after four years-the gist, the singing, the playing, the fun, the laughing, the praying.........
You were a gift and a blessing to our generation and the unborn generations, a special gift to the family of Late Michael Elijah Orunmoluyi (the father of your darling wife-my loving big sister). I believe firmly that your legacy lives on in the lives of your children, grandchildren, families, in-laws and all whose lives you touched during your sojourn on earth as a mentor, a teacher, your colleagues etc. We will miss you dearly.
Greet all our people who have gone before us marked with the sign of faith. Rest in Peace our dear daddy, Professor Olusola Akinyele till we meet on the resurrection morning.
Reverend Sister Veronica Deji Orunmoluyi SSL
